This video presents the Ángeles Brigade, a group of women working in fire management in the Maderas del Carmen and Ocampo Protected Areas in Coahuila, Mexico. It highlights their key role in wildfire prevention and ecosystem management, and illustrates the shift from fire suppression to fire as an ecological tool. The brigade also represents a change in perspective on women’s participation in fire management in protected areas.
