This video presents a community-scale approach to wildfire prevention in Sardinia through annual land preparation within the ResAlliance project. It shows how climate change, drought, and rural abandonment increase fire risk, and how locally adapted measures such as fuel reduction, prescribed grazing/burning, and firebreaks help limit fire spread. It highlights cooperation between institutions and communities, supported by wildfire simulation and strategic planning.
